| DFA’s New Option to the Public: Express Passport Delivery The Department of Foreign Affairs, through service provider Pilipinas Teleserv, Inc. now offers all walk-in applicants the option to have their passports delivered to them. “This service option gives extreme value for money to applicants who choose to avail of it” claimed Mr. Jun Yupitun, Teleserv’s Director for Operations. For P200, applicants need not return to the DFA to claim their passport. Passport retrieval and delivery are done by Pilipinas Teleserv, also the service provider of the DFA’s breakthrough call center based passport renewal service. Since the commencement of deliveries on September 25, the service has steadily gained a following among passport applicants due to the extreme convenience offered for P200.
