NSO Helpline Plus - Over a Million customers served.

Every February, the National Statistics Office celebrates the Civil Registry Month; this year there are more reasons to celebrate. NSO Helpline Plus, the application via telephone of civil registry documents became a recipient of two e-government awards by the Philippine Internet Commerce Society and have reached a millionth-customer mark, by far the largest number of applicants served in a technology-based government service.

Pilipinas Teleserv, Inc., the call center responsible for this innovative way of giving the public a more convenient and worry-free way of applying for their birth, marriage and death certificates — proudly announced this milestone in a press conference held at Gerry’s Grill Makati and has invited Ms. Noela Salas of Ormoc City, Leyte, Philippines - the 1 Millionth customer of NSO Helpline plus to be part of this momentous event in e-governance.

8-McDo Metro Manila Coverage

NSO Helpline New Courier

As of January 10, 2003, the documents like birth, marriage and death certificates applied at the 24/7 toll free 737-1111 NSO Helpline Plus or online application at E-Census will be delivered by the two-year courier partner for DFA Passport Direct ServiceAboitiz One.

With this development, Aboitiz One handles the delivery services for applicants requesting for NSO-civil registry documents, providing convenience and comfort for those who prefer having their certificates delivered right at their doorsteps.

For local requests, the price of the first copy of each copy of birth/marriage/death certificate is P290 if the document will be delivered in Metro Manila and P305 for destinations outside Metro Manila. The second and succeeding copies of a certificate cost P190 per copy. Prices are inclusive of delivery charges.

What's more, applicants can also make follow-ups on the status of their documents by using the SMS Technology-based E-Trace.
