Pilipinas Teleserv, Inc. and the Balik Manggagawa Processing Center of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration have recently launched an Exit Clearance Drop box System for OFWs coming back to the country to spend Christmas with their families.
Before, applicants for Exit Clearances had to go to the Balik-Manggagawa Processing Center and go through the whole application process which usually takes three hours. With this system, OFWs with valid OFW E-Cards and are returning to the same employer can avail of the service in three easy steps:
1. Swipe your OFW E-Card by proceeding to the automated OFW Info sheet printing booth and wait for the OFW Info Sheet to be printed out.
2. Check the printed OFW sheet for completeness and errors. If there are any corrections, please write legibly on the OFW Info Sheet
3. Proceed to the Balik Manggagawa Express Counter, present the signed OFW Info Sheet plus the supporting documents and pay the applicable fees including a P220 Express Processing fee.
The Exit Clearance will be delivered to the applicant via LBC Express.
